Conduit
The power of the storm eternal flows through you, but it does so unpredictably.
Power: You can call on storms and the elements of wind, rain, lightning, and thunder. The more you draw on these elements, however, the more Chaos you invite. For every two points of Aether you spend, you may choose whether or not to spend a third to keep your powers in check. If you do not, Chaotic Backlash ensues (with one point of Magnitude per two Aether unchecked). Before you commit, the Referee should indicate the general direction of the Chaotic Backlash (“you’re whipping up quite a wind, given the forest fire nearby”) but not the exact extent of the Chaos that will ensue.
Upgrades
- Earthshaker: You may additionally channel the tides, waves, and earthquakes. The Referee may also bring them into play as part of Chaotic Backlash.
- Conditional Chaos: Each time Chaotic Backlash ensues, you may choose one:
- No harm may come to you or your fellow Wardens (but the collateral damage may be immense)
- No harm may come to innocents (but you or fellow Wardens may be struck down)
- No harm may come to property or structures (but people are fair game)
- Weatherworker: (TODO: some ability where you get to spend small amounts of Aether to set the weather, possibly related weather mechanics)
