Currency

The Atlantean Siglos, a silver coin stamped with an image of Atlantis, is the most commonly accepted currency in the Isles. Also commonly accepted is the Federation’s copper penny, referred to primarily as a “copper.” Generally the exchange rate is 100 copper is equal to 1 Siglos. Mostly, it’s not worth tracking any transaction that you’d denominate in copper.

Your ship may be re-stocked at 1 siglos per Supply. If you choose to maintain a private residence in Twill, a Warden’s room and board is subsidized to a fee of 6 siglos per month. The Wardens of Twill earn a salary of 15 siglos per season, re-assessed anually. Your characters have been advanced their first season’s pay.

Example costs:

• A day of work from 5 laborers costs 1 siglos
• A basic bladed tool / weapon (like a spear, axe, or dagger) costs 1 siglos
• Basic weapons (1 Harm + 1 Effect) cost 5 siglos
• A set of delicate instruments costs 5 siglos: lockpicks, brewing equipment, embroidery needles, etc.
• Fashionable outfits cost upwards of 45 siglos
